SPECIAL NOTE Antonio Virgilio, an Italian architect and designer, graduated from the University of Naples in 1970 and practiced in Messina. His diverse career included architectural design, museography, set design, and urban planning. From 1989 to 2006, he served as the technical director for the Regional Museum of Messina and curated exhibitions on artists like Antonello da Messina and Caravaggio. Additionally, Virgilio worked as a set designer for operas and the film "Seconda Primavera." He contributed to design, creating furniture for Bernini. Overall, his career showcased a wide-ranging impact on art, architecture, and design.
