SPECIAL NOTE Ico Parisi, Gio Ponti's protege, designed numerous interiors, furniture, glass, jewellery, and architecture projects, both independently and with his wife Luisa. Their studio was a meeting place for collaborations between established artists and designers of the day and they were celebrated for their organic designs and interiors. Companies they worked with included Singer & Sons, Altamira, M.I.M., Longhi, and Cassina.

Model 836 was highlighted at the Compasso d'oro 1955 and awarded gold medal at the "Colori e forme della casa d'oggi" in Como 1957.
