SPECIAL NOTE
Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) and Carl Harry Stalhane (1920-1990) were two of the most important ceramic artists and designers in Sweden during the 20th century. They both worked for Rorstrand as artistic directors, Nylund in the early 30's and Stalhane from the 50's till the 70's. Their production ranged from elegant graceful, studio pieces to mass produced ashtrays and pots, and unique, hand build sculptures.
