Mario Botta is a Swiss architect known for his distinctive architectural style that combines modernism with a strong sense of materiality and geometric form. He studied Architecture at the IUAV in Venice, and subsequently worked with the renowned architect Le Corbusier in Paris. Botta's architecture is characterized by the ability to evoke a sense of timelessness while embracing contemporary design principles.
