SPECIAL NOTE Carlo Mollino is renowned as one of the most significant architects and designers of the 20th century. He drew substantial inspiration from Alpine construction techniques, incorporating elements of Baroque and Surrealism into his unique furniture designs. His pieces defy the conventions of mass-produced furniture, remaining distinct from both industrial design and traditional craftsmanship. Instead, they are best understood as independent works of art. Mollino only created more of a particular piece when commissioned by a client.
