SPECIAL NOTE Perry King, a British designer known for industrial design, moved to Italy in the 1960s. At Olivetti, he worked across various design fields, collaborating with key figures like Ettore Sottsass, co-designing the Valentine typewriter in 1968. King's most significant partnership was with Santiago Miranda, with whom he co-founded a design studio and created these distinctive office chairs for Planula. These chairs represent the iconic 1970s Italian office furniture style, featuring softly curved, fully upholstered seats and a polished molded metal base. Recently reupholstered in olive velvet, the chairs now have improved caster wheels, though minor scratches and marks can be found on the metal base.
