SPECIAL NOTE The F300 caused something of a sensation in the 1960s. Its production in injected polyurethane, when it was first made and produced by Artifort in 1964-65, was conceived for use with or without a removable covering, which Pierre Paulin had planned to extend down the legs, in such a way that it could be firmly held in place by its precise fit to the shape of the plastic. Its use was thus brilliantly adapted for inside and outside use.
