DESIGNER Francois Monnet (1946)
DIMENSIONS W. 90,5 x D. 90,5 x H. 40 /cm.
Born in 1946, François Monnet studied architecture and his training was evident in the pieces that he started producing from an early period of his life. Much of the furniture, lamps, umbrella stands, and fireplace implements he created incorporated steel and presented a contemporary and ultra-modern feel to them. The majority were produced during the 1970s when he was employed by the Kappa but he was also employed by Uginox working alongside Maria Pergay and Jacques Charpentier.
